Lately 002

1) Stealth at Thorpe Park (gave me whiplash) 2) Starbucks 3) Drinking Starbucks
4) Little yellow ducky! 5) Biggest procrastination ever 6) Night out
7) Tattoo design 8) Fruit salad 9) My campus

Just a few snaps from recent life although there's not much going on at the moment now that exam period is rolling round. I've just finished a 2000 word essay so I'm bouncing with joy having finished that at least. And the sun is out so we're all having a bbq later. Good times.

Have a good one!

Outfit Of The Day feat. Fuschia Candy Pop Trousers

Jacket- H&M
Top and Trousers- Zara
Earrings: Topshop
Lipstick- Natural Collection in Rosebud

Yay sunshine! I've been dying to wear these trousers out on a sunny day ever since I bought them in Zara about a month ago. And I even persuaded my boyfriend to take the pictures outside. I did feel like I was wearing a glorified pyjama set but they're super comfy and I can't wait to wear them even more in hotter weather.

I wore it with my denim jacket but it would look even better with a black blazer or leather biker jacket (which I'm saving up for- I feel it's a necessity I'm lacking in my wardrobe!) I'm planning to stud my denim jacket with some studs I bought off ebay so I will be sure to take pictures and post it when they get here!

I also included a pic snap of my face today. I was getting really bad reflection off my glasses if I took it outside so excuse the messy room behind me! I wanted to share with you my current lipstick obsession which is Natural Collection in Rosebub. It's the perfect your-lips-but-better shade for me and it wasn't too strong to be clashing with my trousers.

Hoping for good weather over the weekend
Have a good one!

Emergency Nail Repair

So yesterday, I accidently managed to slam my nail into a closing door and consequently ripped my whole in half. You know the absolute panic you get when you rip a nail at the edge about half way down? Hurt so bad.

But never fear, there is a quick and simple tip that will keep your nail safe from ripping any further!

And that's all you need. Simply rip a bit of tea bag paper off and place it over the offending snag in your nail and then coat it in a clear or nail strengthening nail polish. So, it looks and feels a bit weird but with a bit of gentle buffing and a coat of colour, no ones any the wiser. I also much prefer doing this than wrapping a plaster awkwardly round my finger just for it to fall off 5 minutes later.

So yes, sorry for the picture of my poor manky thumb but it was a handy tip that I thought would be worth sharing with all of you.
Hope  it's of some use

Product Review: Soap And Glory Peaches And Clean Cleansing Milk

My much beloved Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is coming to its end and, whilst I was considering repurchasing it, I thought I might as well change it up and try something new. So when I was trawling the Internet, I came across some pretty positive reviews about this and at only £7, it's really not that expensive and I've always liked Soap And Glory skincare.

And rightly so. I really really like this stuff. It's very gentle and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I like to leave it on my face for a few minutes so that it has a chance to soak in and do its job. And I cannot explain how divine the smell is. If you're like me and love fruity smells, you will like this too because as the name suggests, it smells of peachy peachy goodness.

I was also impressed with how good it was at taking my make up off. I wear a lot of eye liner and mascara and I'm beginning to really hate using make up wipes because the rubbing tends to pull my eyelashes out :( But this did the job pretty darn well! I wouldn't say it was as good as the Liz Earle because I think the muslin cloth did a lot of the work also but it all came off and importantly, there was no stinging my eyes. Thumbs up.

As for keeping my skin, I can't really say as my skin's been behaving as of late apart from one hormonal beastie that appeared on my chin a week ago. But I suppose you could say it's doing a good job keeping it clear.

Anyway, that's just my two cents on a potential cheaper alternative to the Liz Earle cleanser.
Hope you're all doing well. I've got a 2000 word essay still to write.
Until next time

NOTD

Now I have to admit I'm not much of a nail varnish person. I own about 6 colours in total but a while back, I treated myself to 3 MUA nail polishes and this ModelsOwn Pro one. It's aptly named pinky grey but I think it has far more of a lilac undertone and for a nail varnish, it actually smells quite nice which is rather unusual.

For some reason, Blogger throws a fit occasionally with my images and even though the top image is landscape when viewing it on my computer, Blogger puts it in as portrait and I don't quite know why. If anyone can shed some light on this, please tell me and I will be v grateful!

Anyway, I'm off to do some Spanish revision- joy of joys.
Have a nice day!
