Outfit Of The Day- Harley Davidson

Jacket- ASOS
T Shirt- Vintage
Shorts- American Apparel

I feel like I haven't done an OOTD in ages! The good news, however, is that the majority of my room has now been repainted and is looking slightly less of a bombsite, although I still need to put shelves up so pretty much everything is living on the floor at the moment.

I was noseying around one of my favourite vintage shops in Brighton yesterday and fell in love my this original Harley Davidson top. Fits perfectly too. Weirdly enough there was a motorbike show not far from where I live so I wore this round proudly. There's an American car show tomorrow so I'm going to combine those pictures together. That being said, the rain has finally rolled in so I don't know how much of it we'll actually see. I also picked up a great jumper and a Led Zep top but it's a mens XL so I'm either going to have to cut it up or take it in.
I also got colour matched in Space NK for NARS Sheer Glow and I am a little bit in love. It has an amazing coverage and finish and it's sitting in my ASOS basket (hello student discount) impatiently but I'm trying to not spend money! Argh decisions! What should I do? Is it worth the money?!

Hope you guys are having a good weekend!
What should I do re NARS Sheer Glow?

Brighton Shopping

Brighton Pier
Brighton Pavillion
Choccywoccydoodah

Beyond Retro

Brighton Pier. Brighton Pavillion. Alice in Wonderland. Choccywoccydoodah window. Amazing salad. Beyond Retro. Leather belts. Old blue shoes. Vintage dress. Pheasant. Vintage bags.
Leather gilet- H&M. Hooters T-Shirt- Dirty Harry. Jumper- H&M. Vintage Levis- Vintage Shop. Dusty Rose Maxi Skirt- New Look. Peace Belt- Urban Outfitters.

A collection of pictures from 2 days in Brighton which is one of my favourite places and only a 20 min drive away from me. It's also fantastic for shopping as you get a great mix of high street and unique vintage shops, including the well known Beyond Retro. I find vintage shopping very hit and miss but if you get a hit, it's a  good day!

As for what I did buy, I'm pleased with all of them, especially with the leather gilet which I wore straight away. I may stud it. I'm not sure yet. Also got myself some vintage Levi's. You can't move for them in the vintage shops. However, out of interest, do any of you find the sizing a bit on the small side? My friend and myself did as did 2 other women trying them on. Or are sizes these days just way more lenient?

I'm really pleased I snagged the peace belt from UO. I had been looking for it everywhere but always seemed to miss it until yesterday! Frustratingly, it's about an inch too small to be worn on my waist and my hips but I will definately get some good use out of it!

So a very good day by all accounts :)
Would you like to see me style any of these new buys in a OOTD?
Let me know
Have a good day!

Outfit of The Day feat. Acid Wash Jeans

wonky camera- oops!

Denim Shirt- Thrifted
Vest- Topshop
Jeans- Cheap Monday
Shoes- New Look

Today was a day hanging with friends that I hadn't seen in a while and this is what I threw together. I absolutely love the vest from Topshop and normally I steer away from the American print- (which, by the way, is a trend I totally dont get...) I couldn't resist the eagle combined with the acid wash.

This look would be perfect with a leather biker jacket for a tougher look or cut off high waisted shorts for more of a festival vibe.

I hope you guys like!

OOTD And A Mini Haul

Outfit
Top- Vintage
Shorts- American Apparel
Earrings and Necklace- Topshop
Shoes- New Look

Earrings- Topshop
Vest- Topshop
Sleeveless Shirt- H&M
Strapless Dress- New Look
Make Up Roll and Camera Case- Mother Dear :p

Ah the sun is shining again down here. I popped into town with my sister and picked up a few bits and bobs. I could spend so much money in the shops at the moment! All the new Spring Summer stuff has got me all excited! I go back to uni soon so I have a huge pile of clothes to organise and I am most definately going back with more than I left with!

I really love this outfit. I normally steer clear of anything cropped as I don't like my stomach and large boobs don't work in my favour but teamed with the new American Apparel high waisted shorts (which I got to replace the Disco Pants), it works so well! I am glad I swapped them for the shorts as I will be wearing these a lot! I also love the Topshop peace necklace. I've had my eye on it for ages and it's so simple and importantly, super long. The rest is other bits and bobs I've picked up recently. I'm thinking of customising the sleeveless vest with some spikes to give it a bit of edge.

I also included a picture of some things my mum has been making recently. The photo is landscape on my computer but for some reason Blogger decided it should be portrait instead... It's an ultra cute Cath Kidston-esque make up brush roll which matches really well with a make up bag I already have and I asked her to make a case for my camera, which, as you know if you've been following me a while, I have a habit of breaking. At least now I can sling it in my bag and it'll be protected.

So yeah! I can't believe how quickly this holiday has gone! Me and the boy are heading to Thorpe Park for his birthday but apart from that I have got so much work to do! Eurgh it's going to be a busy month :(

How are you guys doing?

Back Home And Haul

Alice in Wonderland Shop. Giant Easter Egg. Yummy Ice Cream. Nearby Woods. Rockpools on my beach.
MAC Face and Body in N2. Hue Lipstick. Real Techniques Stipling Brush. MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow.
Vintage Silk shirt. Vintage Denim Shirt. And The Legendary Disco Pants.

I'm back home. I have said adios to uni for another month. My boyfriend came home with me for a few days and it was the first time he had met my parents but they got on really well.
We went into Brighton where we did a bit of shopping. And by we I mean me. But I was very good and stuck to the shops that I really wanted to go to and that we don't have in Southampton, which for me was mainly MAC, American Apparel and Beyond Retro vintage shop.

I love the vintage shops in Brighton and snagged a gorgeous deep turquoise silk cropped shirt as well as a denim shirt. And of course I got the amazing Disco Pants. And they really are good and just suck you in in all the right places. Nobody in my family likes them (typical) but James liked them because, I quote, "they make your arse look good"... but couldn't believe I spent £70 on 'glorified leggings'. Typical man...!

I also picked up Face and Body which I have wanted for a while. It's such a big bottle so definitely value for money but it is very very sheer. However, I do actually like this as it makes it very buildable and doesn't feel heavy at all (Like my Estée Lauder Double Wearer which I have started using more as a concealer. It works wonders with the Real Technique's Stipling brush which I was so happy to see as the Boots in Southampton didn't have them.
I bought Hue after seeing it be recommended various time by beauty bloggers and Youtuber. I thought it would be a bit warmer in tone so I have to be careful with it or else I verge on the concealer on the lips effect or just dead. It works really well with a nude lipgloss just to bring it out a bit.

So all in all I had a really lovely weekend. It's so typical that now that my boyfriend has gone home, it has decided to be sunny again. Sod's law isn't it!?! I'm also back to work on Thursday so I can earn some money to balance out the damage I just did to my bank account. It's been a very expensive weekend! My camera is being repaired again but it should be back with me soon! Fingers crossed!

How have your weekends been?
